EXTRACT STEMS FROM SAMPLE
Extract Stems from a Sample
Use AI to pull vocals, drums, bass and other stems from a sample, loop or reference track. Paste a public YouTube, SoundCloud or Instagram link and download the separated parts.
Extract stemsFind the useful parts inside a mixed sample
When a sample has a drum groove, bass movement, vocal phrase or chord texture buried in the mix, a stem split makes it easier to hear and work with that layer. unstem.me separates the source into four practical stems so you can study, transcribe or sketch around the part you care about.
Use only material you have the right to process. The tool is intended for personal, educational and creative exploration workflows.
Sample workflows
- Lift a drum groove from a public reference and study the pocket.
- Isolate a bass line to learn notes or rebuild the low end.
- Pull a vocal phrase for transcription or personal remix sketches.
- Remove vocals to hear harmonic layers behind a sample.
Extracting stems from samples FAQ
Can I upload an audio sample?
Currently unstem.me is link-based: paste a YouTube, SoundCloud or Instagram URL. File upload can be added later, but it is not the current workflow.
Are AI stems clean enough for production?
They are useful for sketching, study and practice. Like every AI splitter, some bleed or artifacts can remain, especially on dense mixes.
Can I use the extracted stems commercially?
You are responsible for rights and licensing. unstem.me does not grant rights to the underlying music.
