How to split an MP3 into stems

What audio formats can I upload?
MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, AAC, OGG and Opus. The file is validated server-side, so anything that decodes as real audio works.
How does the AI split an MP3 into stems?
A source-separation model (Demucs) analyzes the stereo mix and reconstructs four separate tracks: vocals, drums, bass and other instruments. It runs on a GPU server, so most songs finish in under a minute.
Can I split a WAV or FLAC file too?
Yes. WAV and FLAC are supported alongside MP3 — lossless input can even help the separator slightly, since there are no compression artifacts.
Do I need to install any software?
